UMNO Youth using dialogue to get closer to the people

KUALA LUMPUR, June 15 (Bernama) -- Umno Youth chief Khairy Jamaluddin said the movement will use dialogue sessions to listen to what Malaysians want.

He said the dialogue sessions were important as Umno Youth wanted to serve all irrespective of race.

"As such, Umno will not be confined to only Malay issues, MCA to Chinese and MIC to Indian issues.

"Component parties in Sabah and Sarawak will not be left out," he said at a dialogue with Eight Major Chinese Youth-Based Organisations (EMCO) here Monday.

The issues covered include education like disburse of scholarships and university intake, economy, unity and national integration.

Khairy said Umno Youth will organise a dialogue session between MCA Youth chief Datuk Dr Wee Ka Siong and 4B Youth Movement and the Federation of Peninsular Malay Students Associations on June 29.
